A poll suggests thatthe national Do-Not-Call (DNC) list is having a positive effect, and less people are being harassed by telemarketers these days. But the recent surge inannoyance caused by one asinine US-based company(who uses some computer system to randomly dial numbers, including those on the DNC list) may be confusing people and creating a myth that the DNC list was compromised.

A Mississauga tattoo parlour is in hot water, and as many as 3000 former customers in potential danger and are beingurged to get their blood tested for HIV, and Hepatitis. Poor record-keeping means that they can't produce proof of sterilization, and public health somehow managed to fail to keep up with their prescribed minimum inspection visits as well.
