Rob Ford's been getting a whole lot of comedic attention south of the border, makingregular appearances on the late night talk showsand aless than stellar SNL bitthis weekend. Perhaps funnier and more biting than this slapstick brand of comedy is Rick Mercer's latest rant, which is as insightful as it is laugh-worthy. On Ford Mercer says, "he's this close to biting the heads off live chickens on the Latin American freak show circuit." On Ford's politics, however, he offers a more cautious warning. "Rob Ford's popularity has nothing to do with the man himself. He is a circus act. But his politics are very real, and they should not be written off just because he's about to be."
