  • Pretty Ugly, a Parkdale cocktail bar by Bar Isabel andBar Raval'sGrant Van Gameren, Mike Webster and Robin Goodfellow along with Evelyn Chick, former bar manager ofThe Harbord Room, has quietly opened at 1237 Queen St. W. With its pedigree, you know the drinks will be good.

  • Hot Mess Tex Mex Tavern will be taking over what was previously Bar Radio in Little Italy at 615 College St. and should be opening in early December.
