An Indian restaurant in Toronto has been flagged by health inspectors for several concerning infractions.

Khau Gully, located at 1987 Yonge Street, was issued a conditional pass notice on May 15 after health inspectors detected 10 infractions including one crucial, five significant and three minor infractions.

This Indian restaurant serves up a variety of popular Indian dishes including kababs, biryani, an assortment of naans and other appetizers.

The most crucial infraction was the failure to "protect food from contamination or adulteration."

Significant infractions included failure to "maintain handwashing stations," failure to "provide thermometer in refrigeration equipment" and failure to "protect against harbouring pests."

Despite the restaurant's list of infractions, the conditional pass will allow Khau Gully to remain open while simultaneously working on fixing its major health violations.
