Her Majesty's Pleasure is a destination spot for women before a night out on the town, hence the somewhat cheesy - yet very fitting - name. TheKing Westspace is a beauty salon, cafĂŠ, boutique, and cocktail bar all rolled into one; at first I couldn't grasp the concept, but after experiencing it firsthand, I can't imagine going anywhere else to spoil myself.

The business is the brainchild of former architecture student Sara Kardan and investment banker Jeff Armstrong, a husband and wife duo who saw an opportunity to take nail spas and blow dry bars to a whole 'nother level.

Conceptualized by design studio+tongtong(the same guys who did theDrake Hotel,Annie Aime, and pretty much any other space with that unmistakable, quirky-cool vibe), Her Majesty's Pleasure is a dream to walk in to and kick back in. I kind of want to live there.

Upon entrance, it looks like another hip-and-with-it spot to get your drink on (whether that's a latte or a craft cocktail) thanks to ultra-high ceilings, white walls, and eccentric furnishings. But a walk past the cafĂŠ and bar reveals there's way more to it.

A retail shop in the back stocks all-natural apothecary and independent accessory brands; a nail spa around the corner mirrors the bar, save for a nail polish wall and Fashion Week-approved manicurists; a blow dry salon sits pretty near private waxing/massage rooms; and plenty of Instagrammable lounge areas are scattered in between.

Though it's meant to be every girl's "happy place" to pre-party, Jeff tells me they're often open late into the night filling guests with their top-notch Bourbon Old Fashioneds - because unlike a regular beauty spa, you're always welcome to stay well past your time slot.

My visit - albeit a quick one - had me waltzing out with a fresh half-moon manicure, a perfect blowout and a spring in my step (read: a bit of a buzz). With manicure/pedicure services ranging from $15 - $60, hair styling from $20 - $75, and facials from $35 - $155, there's truly something for everyone no matter the time frame or budget. I'll definitely be returning with my girl gang the next time we need a little R and R - after all, that's the closest I'll ever get to moving in.
