Jason Collett Preps New Album for March Release
Collett has been keeping busy with his Annual Basement Revue at the Dakota Tavern this month, and his schedule shows no sign of freeing up in 2010.Rat a Tat Tatis his fifth studio effort and will hit stores and digital outlets on March 9, 2010 through Arts & Crafts. Though the eleven-song album won't be out for well over three months, fans can exchange their email address for an MP3 of the new song 'Love is a Dirty Word' over at theA&C site.

Diamond Rings & Colin Medley vs. Sony BMG & Youtube
Diamond Rings(John O'Regan) and filmmaker Colin Medley found themselves in a legal bind early last week when music industry giant Sony BMG had the duo's hit video 'All Yr Songs' pulled from Youtube without any sort of pre-emptive warning. Sony Canada says they haveno ideawhat happened, but the situation was quickly resolved and the video rightfully restored. Still, no official reason for the copyright claim has been given, and O'Regan encourages kids to"stay vigilant"while surfing the"wild world wide web", cause you never know when a corporate giant will try and steal your hard work.

- Though Burlington'sBoys Night Outreunited for a show in October, it looks as though the future of the band remains uncertain.
