Born Ruffians Finalize Details for Their Second Album
Say Itwill be released byPaper Bag Recordson June 1, with worldwide distribution being handled by Warp. Production was handled by Rusty Santos, who helmed the boards during the recording sessions for their 2007 debutRed, Yellow and Blue. Their first song from their ten-track sophomore effort is titled 'Sole Brother,' and is available for free download via Stereogum (MP3). Check out the trippy cover art over at theirwebsite. They'll be playing an all ages show at the Phoenix on March 14 alongside Hamilton'sYoung Rivalas part of CMW.

The Cameron House Sold
- The Cameron House has been sold and will close on May 1st.Nowspoke with bartender Duncan Buchanan about the buy-out, though he could offer few details about the new owners. His predictions for what will become of the legendary venue are far from what many of us would have hoped for.
Feist - 'He Was Free' (Live from the 2010 Cultural Olympiad)
- Hamilton'sHuron正准备释放self-titled debut album via Latent Recordings, the label of Cowboy Junkies' Michael Timmins. The album will be released on March 23 and boasts production from their recent co-resident at the Dakota Tavern, Ian Blurton. Huron will play the Silver Dollar Room on March 12 as part of CMW.

- Toronto DJ/production duoCircle Researchhave signed with URBNET, who will release their third albumGardiner Expresson April 20. The duo have previously worked with k-os and Ivana Santilli.

It's currently available through the band's website, and the 26-song collection will only set you back $9.99.
