Toronto artist and authorLauren Bridecurates this month's edition ofTrampoline Hall, Toronto's favourite amateur lecture series. Bride's chosen three lectures for February, with artist and blogger亚伦Kopfftaking on the politics of friendship, journalist Naomi Skwarna revealing the truth behind secret eating, and in a rare show of indecision on the part of TH, Michael McManus will be speaking on a topic yet to be determined. Advance tickets usually sell out but a batch will be released at the venue at 6:30 tonight.

PARTY|My So-Called Mondays
Queen West bar the Beaver launches a new Monday night party tonight that will take you back to your embarrassing teen years. You know, that period of your life when you were confused and insecure and no one understood you but Scott Wolf? The party starts with a screening of the very first episode of Claire Danes cult hitMy So-Called Life, which you can enjoy while scarfing down free popcorn and drinking delicious martinis. Followed by sets from DJs Rayanne and Ricky, who'll be spinning all the classic tunes you're ashamed to admit you love.

FILM|Cinematheque's Best of the Decade presents:Yi Yi
Cinamethequecontinues its month-long program highlighting the best films of the decade with Taiwanese masterpieceYi Yi (A One and a Two). A powerful family drama from Chinese-born auteurEdward Yang, the film chronicles a year in the life of a Taipei family bracketed by a marriage at one end and a death at the other, and won the best director prize at Cannes in 2007. Equal parts sadness and joy but immensely moving throughout, the film was a no-brainer to be included in Cinatheque's program.

FESTIVAL|The Beach Family Day Festival
The East End Beaches neighbourhood hosts its third annual Family Day Festival today, offering up a day's worth of family-oriented entertainment to keep the kids occupied on their day off. Visit with llamas, alpacas and camels from theBowmanville Zoo, be entertained by some of the best children's entertainers in the country including Juno nomineeMary LambertandTricky Rickythe magician, or lace up and go for a skate at Kew Gardens. There will also be plenty of arts and crafts projects courtesy of theGlitter Piekids art studio, and don't miss the Fashion Faux Paws doggie fashion show at 1 pm.

PARTY|Makeshift Mondays at Andy Pool Hall
There are not many options for a genuine dance party on a Monday night, but if you're lucky enough to not have to work tomorrow let loose at Andy Pool Hall tonight. Seemingly ominpresent Toronto dj duothe Tapedeck Brosapparently drew over 300 people at last week's edition of the party, and judging by the guestlist so far tonight's jam should be just about as big. Toronto producersVLSONNand Paul D will be joining the Bros in spinning the latest in electro club bangers.
