MUSIC|Meligrove Band Bus Fail $$$ Relief Party
If you haven't heard of Meligrove Band you probably should. 2010 was a big year for them except for one minor set back - their bus breaking down in Orlando causing them to be stuck there for five days (okay, not all that bad) and miss the last leg of their tour (very bad). To make back a little money they lost getting the transmission fixed, they have decided to play a little music for fans and newbies and anyone else looking to hear a little indie rock on a Thursday night. Only ten bucks for a great show and to help these lads out.

ART|The Remainders Project solo exhibition by Sue Russell
A fascinating exhibit that likely everyone can identify with is Sue Russell's most recent, The Remainders Project. A simple life moment was the inception point: driving home one day and noticing that where once a building stood, it existed no longer, having fell victim to bulldozers. Since then she has discovered amazing places and explored what has been left or not left behind as the infrastructure crumbles around her. Tonight kicks off the opening of her exhibit where Russell shares with you the beauty in unexpected spaces.

STAGE|NT Live: FELA!
Winner of three 2010 Tony Awards including Best Choreography, FELA! is being broadcasted live to the Scotiabank Theatre and many other theatres around the world tonight, as part of the National Theatre's explosive series sharing with the world the wonderful shows that grace its stage. FELA! is a exciting trifecta of dance, theatre and music that explores the world of Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

MUSIC|Minor Empire CD Release Concert
These funkified jazz-fusion masters will be releasing their debut album at a very special performance tonight at Lula Lounge. This ensemble's music has been described as "Turkish electronica and jazz" and if you head east tonight on Queen you will experience the joys of this music and likely see some instruments you've never seen before like the baglama and the kanun. Tantalize your ears tonight with some new sounds.
