As if playing in a ping pong tournament in the traditional all-white court apparel wasn't already sexy enough,The DAPPPis making table tennis even more appealing by coupling the tournament with a party with proceeds going to charity.

This year'sCommissioner's Cupis not only expected to bring together hundreds of ping pong players and partiers in a night of sport and revelry, but also plans to raise money forSecond Harvest, an organization that aims to help feed hungry people by picking up and preparing excess fresh food and delivering it daily to social service agencies in Toronto

The Commissioner's Cupis the largest charity ping pong tournament in the world, and this year's incarnation goes down at theThe Berkeley Churchthis Saturday. It's still not too late to sign up for the tournament, and players of all skill levels are encouraged to play.

If playing ping pong isn't your cup of tea, DAPPP marketing manager Mike Schram assures me that the party will be just as intense: they're expecting a total of 600 players and partiers at the event. And an added bonus for those signing up for the tournament: open bar.
