zellers toronto lines

People in Toronto are forming long lines to visit Zellers as it officially reopens

Toronto is known for long lines whenever anything new or exciting opens up, and the official launch date for Zellers 2.0 is no different.

Video footage posted by the company shows very long lines of eager customers waiting to access the new pop-ups inside Scarborough Towns Centre and Erin Mills Town Centre in Mississauga, even before doors opened.

Thursday, March 24, is theofficial reopening date for the discount department store chain,在已经建立的哈德逊湾圣再现ores.

And the Zellers team was ready to hype up queuing customers (and keep them entertained), providing live music with a marching band and free giveaways.

It's not just cheap home goods, clothing or water bottles that customers are ready to buy either; the Zellers food truck has already seen some lines.

Offering up five classic Zellers Diner meals, I too, would wait in line for a $3 grilled cheese.

Zeller's website has already been launched, and of course, some of its merchandise has already sold out - thanks a lot to nostalgia-induced shopping habits.

It seems that waiting in line for 45 minutes is your only chance to grab a Zellers-branded red sweatshirt. If anybody sees one in a size extra-large, please send it my way.
