Live at Massey Hall

Massey Hall to launch new film series

Toronto's historicMassey Hallwill begin a new live concert film series this spring, titled (predictably, but how could they not have gone this direction)Live at Massey Hall. The first two concerts to be filmed are planned for late May and will feature, respectively, folksy trioTimber Timbrewith soulfulCold Specksopening, then French-Canadian singer-songwriterCÅ“ur de Piratewith special guestBry Webb.

Massey Hall was built in 1894, so tickets to the show, which you can grab here,售价18.94美元。这是一个非常德cent deal to see these acts in such a lovely space and be a part of Toronto music history. TheLive at Massey Hallfilms will appear as 30-minute episodes, and while there's no word next on who's next, a noisy night ofMETZmatched with, dare I hope for it, a secondInduced Labourreunion could serve to shake things up from the venue's rather tame first-run.

The first gig with Timbre Timbre will happen Friday, May 23rd, and the second with Coeur de Pirate is Saturday, May 31st.Tickets on sale this Saturday at 12pm.
