Mengrai Thai has been open since 2007, hidden on Ontario in the former Regal Brewery. This place does phad thai two ways - the more sweet and tomato-y kind favoured by many Torontonians and a more traditional version with tamarind and shrimp paste. If you don't like sweet then Chef Sasi's phad thai is definitely where it's at.
