PM Trudeau cuddled with Toronto's baby pandas today

Few things are more adorable than a pair of baby pandas. And after surviving infancy and enchanting the world for more than 100 days, the Toronto Zoo named its two cubs - Jia Yueyue (Canadian Joy) and her brother Jia Panpan (Canadian Hope) - in a high-profile ceremony that even Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attended, along with Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne.

Naturally, the photo showing Prime Minister Trudeau holding a pair of pandas set the internet on fire this morning.

The pandas, along with their mother Er Shun, are here on loan from the Chinese government. City Councillor Georgio Mammoliti, asCBC News reports, announced today that he wants the bears to stay here for an extended period of time.

Currently, they're supposed to head to Calgary in 2018.
