Apex Da Barber has continued to give at-home quarantine cuts to his customers this whole time,according to the CBC.

He said that as soon as the order to close was announced, his customers started reaching out to ask if he could hook them up.

He said that he's introduced safety measures like wearing personal protection equipment, asking family members to wait separately and sanitizing his tools.

Barbers across the city have been using social media platforms like Instagram to advertise their services.

Meanwhile, Toronto Public Health told the CBC they've conducted 124 complaint investigations of hair salons/barber shops and issued 17 charges since March 29.

Premier Doug Ford recently announced anew list of businessesallowed toreopen during Stage 1and hairdressers and barberswere not on it.

Due to the close contact nature of the service, which can facilitate the spread of the virus, it could be some time before they areallowed to reopen. And even then, getting an appointmentwill be difficult.

So unless you're willing to go underground for a cut, you can alwaysask a trusted lovedone or suck it up like the rest of us.
